I have two favorite series from my summer reading so far. While two very different worlds, both series were intense, a bit dark and quite sexy.

The MoRoad MC & The Hitman Series

The MoRoad MC series by Debra Kayn reveals the raw internal workings of a motorcycle club that keeps more than half their members inside the prison system to maintain control over illegal activity. It's dark, intense but always ends with at least a happy-for-now.

This series closely resembled the first mc series I ever read with what appears to be a more realistic depiction of the lifestyle. It was intense and I never knew what was going to happen. I was hooked and so glad I had time to read them all back-to-back! 

The Hitman series by Jessica Clare & Jen Frederick is dark, contemporary romances about assassins and the women they fall for. These stories are intense, grim, and not for the faint of heart (but always have a happy-ever-after).

This series was action-packed and filled with nail-biting suspense. It was also crazy hot... I had no idea the Russian accent could be so sexy! These may be best enjoyed on audio. Yum!
